Time to Spring into Action
by Susan Miller, M.A.
If you haven’t done so already, you are out of excuses. By Spring Semester, you should be savvy enough to ensure that Career Services is part of your Academic Plan; if you know what’s GREAT for you, at any rate. We recognize that there may be some skepticism about our enthusiasm for our own department, so don’t take it from us.
Here are some comments from students about one of UA Career Services most popular services: Wildcat JobLink.
- "The very first time I used it and posted for a job, I was hired for a good job through the University."
- "I was able to find a student job in the field I hoped to work in the future."
- "I have received five very competitive job offers in just this Fall Semester. The capabilities and flexibility of the JobLink system made the job search almost too easy."
- "I received several follow-up interviews, three job offers, and took a full-time position within three months of beginning my search on Wildcat JobLink."
- "I did not have any job offers coming into my final semester of college. I started looking for jobs at the career fair and Career Services. I ended up with two solid offers and probably more if I would have pursued harder."
